Bride tells guest to breast feed in the bathroom, Internet says hell no!

What will you do if a soon to be bride sends you a wedding invitation with a note that tells you to go to the bathroom if you will need to breastfeed during the event?

Sounds unbelievable, but a bride-to-be sent this note along with her wedding invitation to all of her guests IRL. In a post on the Breastfeeding Mama Facebook Page, an anonymous follower shared a note that came with the wedding invitation sent by her husband’s friend.

The note is a message to breasteeding guests. It goes:

“We are sensitive to the fact you may have to breastfeed during our event, therefore we have designated an appropriate place for you to feed your baby so you do not have to do so in public in front of our Family and Friends.”

Which to the guest meant she will not allow breastfeeding moms to breastfeed during the event and that everywhere else in the venue save for the bathroom will be an inappropriate place to feed her baby.

The note then goes on to say :

“For your convenience we are accommodating you with a comfortable and private area with chairs and baby blankets in the ladies room. We request that you use this area when you are breastfeeding. Thank you.”

The Facebook post has since gotten over 600 shares and almost 2 thousand comments mostly from angry mothers who thought the note was tacky.

Below is the note with the picture of the breast feeding area right in front of bathroom stalls! Can you imagine feeding your poor baby in front of a pooping lady? Sitting there feeding your child while listening to people pee.

She obviously doesn’t know how it’s like to be a mom, or a breastfeeding mom at that. Which makes most wonder if she’s getting married to build a family or just to have an excuse to throw a perfect party without boobs and babies.

What would have done? You think you’ll

still be attending the event if you were to receive an invite with a note like this?
